ADADEMY RULES

& GENERAL INFORMATION


1• No shoes on the mats. 


2• Bow to all blackbelts on the mat.


3• Please refer to all black belts as "Professor."


4• Respect your training partners.


5• Maintain good personal hygiene:


  • Wear deodorant
  • Trim finger & toe nails
  • Clean GI and No-GI attire must be worn at all times on the mats.
  • With Covid-19, New Hygiene Practices/Recommendations will be used.


6• No foul language on the mat.


7• No intentional belching or passing gas.


8• Absolutely no training when ill


Common Cold:  STAY HOME!

Cough: can be with phlegm

Nasal: congestion, runny nose, sneezing, loss of smell, redness, or post-nasal drip

Whole body: chills, fatigue, fever, malaise, or body ache

Eyes: watery eyes, itchiness, or redness

Head: congestion or sinus pressure

Also common: chest pressure, headache, swollen lymph nodes, or throat irritation.


Skin Infection: ringworm, staph, any other bacterial infection.


Rule of Thumb: If you Feel "OFF" or sick. STAY HOME. The gym will be here.  Do  not be selfish and infect your fellow students.  We will be here for you when you get better. 


9• Wear your appropriate belt-level and uniform must be worn properly

- (No sagging gi pants.)


10• Absolutely no training or rolling shirtless.


11• No eating (food or gum) or drinking on the mat.


12• Try to maintain a positive attitude on the mat

- (Remember you are here to learn. Your ego should be left off the mat).
